Page Turner

Work with me 1:1 for a day to develop the structure and strategy that will make your non-fiction book a page-turner

A great non-fiction book isn’t about saying everything. It’s about saying the right things, in the right way and in the right order, so your reader remembers it long after the final page.

The books that do this – and have the most impact on a reader’s life – are not just:

  • Well-written
  • Entertaining
  • Full of incredible insights

They shift something deep within that person and change the way they think.

For me, they’re the books I recommend time and time again, to anyone who asks. Often buying multiple copies because I keep giving them away and forgetting who to.

I bet you can relate.

A page-turner is not just a name for the best novels out there; we can absolutely create the same experience for readers of non-fiction, too! And when we do, we take your brilliant idea, expertise and experience and turn it into something your readers genuinely can’t put down.

That’s what this book planning day is all about. Shaping a book that transforms how your audience thinks, feels and – most importantly – what they do next.

Write one like that, and your impact will go far beyond the bookshelf:

  • Establishing you as the definitive voice in your industry
  • Reaching the rooms, readers and opportunities your work deserves
  • Creating the legacy piece you’ll stand behind

But this only happens if you have the right strategy and structure for your book.

Without it, books flop, laying unfinished on someone’s nightstand or in the bag for the charity shop – or languishing in the 3* reviews section on Amazon.

The problem? They failed to deliver on what was promised and were as dry as a GCSE textbook on the Industrial Revolution.

Readers nowadays have Netflix, Instagram and seventeen podcasts queued up. Your book has to pack a punch and provide the transformation they seek – otherwise they’re onto the next cat video and you’re left wondering what the heck happened.

So, if you want to ensure your book finds the right reader, gives incredible results and spreads your message further than ever, you’re in the right place.

Who is this Book Planning Day for?

Page Turner is for the established woman expert who is ready to be taken seriously on a bigger stage and who knows a book focused on changing how people think is how they’ll do it.

It’s for you if:

  • You’re ready to put your book in motion and take the first step to figure out what to include. Perhaps you’ve spent months/years starting and stopping – with dozens of scattered ideas in your Notes app – but with no clear structure to pull them together.
  • You’re sitting on years of expertise (frameworks, methodologies, insight) and now it’s time to translate that into something really teachable for a whole new range of people/clients, helping you become an industry-leading expert on your topic.
  • You have an idea of what your book is about but you’d love the time/space to brainstorm the thread that ties it all together – and are the type of person who prefers being walked through what works well, rather than relying on guesswork.
  • You want a thinking partner who can help you shape what’s already there into something exceptional. You’re looking for someone who has already done exactly that – and worked with many other female non-fiction authors to do the same
  • You know the value of investing in the right support, at the right moment, to get the foundations in place – and love the idea of doing it with a trusted expert and author of eight books
  • You do your best thinking in a dedicated environment away from the everyday and are excited by the idea of spending the day focusing on how to structure the best book you can possibly write

Sound like you? Read on.

What We’ll Cover

As an established expert, your knowledge, frameworks and experience has likely been kept to Zoom rooms, workshops, Substack or podcast episodes. Page Turner helps bring together what you already have, while also looking at what else needs to be said to make your book stand out – and reach a wider audience.

It takes those months of thinking you’ve been doing and gives you everything you need to start your book in one single day, so you can stop stalling on your goal of confidently getting your book written and know what to focus on.

This book planning day has three parts:

Before

We start with a 60-minute pre-session call so I can get under the bonnet of your idea before we’re in the room together. We get clear on what your book is really about, why it matters now and where it sits in the market.

You’ll also complete a short idea audit so we hit the ground running on the day.

During

Up to six hours together in Central London – delicious lunch included. As we move through the day, we continue to get even clearer on what we started in the pre-session, before mapping out the full structure of your non-fiction book.

Together we’ll work through:

  • Your core idea, argument and point of view – ensuring they become the thread that links everything in the book together. Before you’ve even written a word, you’ll know exactly what you’re building.
  • How to make every chapter earn its place, so your reader never loses momentum and has a fantastic experience throughout.
  • Practical activities and prompts your readers can use to start implementing your ideas straight away – meaning you never miss an opportunity to keep your reader invested.
  • Client/personal stories you can use to bring your ideas to life and make them land with your reader, which means that from day one, you build real rapport that sets your book apart from the millions of dry, unrelatable ones.
  • A structure you can actually write from, confidently and without second-guessing yourself. When you do sit down to write, you’ll know exactly what to say.

This is my Expert to Author framework in action – a process I use with every writer I work with, to take everything they already know and shape it into a book worth reading.

After

You leave with more than an outline. At the end of our time together, you’ll have:

  • Your full book structure, chapter by chapter
  • An email recap of key decisions and next steps
  • Clarity on what goes in, what stays out and why
  • Three days of post-session Telegram support while everything is still fresh
  • The confidence to sit down and start, knowing you’re on the right track

“Working with Steph was hands down the best thing I did to move my book forward. She delivers a perfect balance of professional guidance in a clear and actionable way with tonnes of natural encouragement and excitement. Regardless of your writing stage, you’ll want Steph by your side. I highly recommend her.”

Why This Matters

There is a distinct lack of women’s voices in the business and leadership space – and in non-fiction in general.

The women I work with have spent years developing frameworks, leading conversations and creating real change. But so much of that thinking stays hidden.

A book changes that.

Not only does it make your work even more credible, but the opportunities that come with being a published author (the stages, the media requests, the rooms that suddenly open up) have historically gone to men.

Every industry is richer for having more diverse voices in it. More perspectives and lived experiences leading the change… and the conversation.

When you write a book that truly reflects your authority, you don’t just reach more people, you claim your place in that conversation – on your own terms, in your own voice, for good.

That’s why I do this work. And why I’m so deliberate about doing it well.
